Our Adventure tribe children are in store for an action packed day. Activities we offer are bushcraft such as whittling, sawing, drilling, fire lighting, tree climbing to name a few. Our sessions are skills based where the children learn about plants and foraging, outdoor cooking, shelter building and learning about the natural world through practical hands on experiences. We start our sessions at the base camp and explore the surrounding woodlands to gather resources for our activities.
Camp notes
Bring a pack lunch (no nuts or nut products please) and a refillable bottle of water.
We will be providing a camp fire snack of popcorn (am snack) and hot chocolate and marshmallows and a rich tea biscuit (Pm snack) all cooked on the fire.
Bring spare clothes.
Come dressed ready for the weather. waterproof shoes and coats essential as the weather can change very quickly.
The Times of the session is 9.30 - 2pm for children Over 5
9.45 - 1.45 for children under 5
Location - we are in the main field near the buildings.
